Why use articles?
Mainly, you will be able to provide your visitors or newsletter subscribers fresh content without doing any work yourself. Running a website is a lot of work, and keeping it up to date and providing fresh content is key to keep your visitors coming back and for keeping your newsletter subscribers interested in getting your next email. Using articles that are closely related to your website are important. Choose an article that you think your visitors will enjoy and if your featuring an article on your home page of your website, make sure you change it often to keep your site looking fresh and up to date. As both a website publisher and an article writer, I deeply appreciate the authors whose articles I use and giving them there due by keeping their byline at the bottom so they get the credit for writing the article is the least I can do. They are saving me tons of time, I don’t have to come up with fresh content myself, and I know I am providing my visitors and newsletter subscribers with content that is not old and been seen already over and over on my site. So when you copy and use an article that someone else has written, make sure you always include their byline at the bottom and give them the proper credit they deserve!

Another reason why writing an article can be so beneficial is because of free advertising exposure. This means you have a unlimited number of people who just may use your article and share it with a great many number of people! What do you get for letting someone use your article for free? Byline credit. You can require that someone can use your article, free of charge, as long as they keep your byline intact at the bottom. Which usually includes your name, a little information about yourself, and your website information.
I am sure you can already imagine the possible amounts of free exposure you can receive by writing an article now. As I said, it really is a win/win situation for both publishers and writers! Publishers get your view and knowledge behind a topic they are looking for and you get amazing free exposure that can lead to your site getting a lot of traffic. Not to mention you may even get betting rankings in the search engines. The more sites that link to you, the more the search engines may view your site worthy of being higher ranked.
